Three (Bible numerics)

Godhead(trinity),Wisdom, Resurrection, Sin

Just like symbols, numbers have different meanings. This doesn’t mean the different meanings have to be related although they can as we know Godhead and wisdom share relation. With the number 2 it means the union of 2 things and we see how 2 holds meaning with things being separated. Union and separation are opposites but still hold meaning with the number 2. The Godhead and sin are complete opposites but they still have meaning with the number 3. If you read a bible verse that focuses on the trinity you wouldn’t associate the number 3 with sin in that verse, you’d associate it with the Godhead. But if you read a verse about sin or that deals with sin in some fashion then 3 could be associated with the verse. Jesus (who is apart of the Godhead) came to be sacrificed for the sins of the world, so it shouldn’t be surprising that sin and Jesus would hold meaning within the same number. I hope this makes sense but if not continue reading and you will understand what Im trying to explain.

Godhead: Gods divine being; deity

“Godhead” used exactly 3 times in the KJV bible. All new perversions (NIT, NLT, The message ect.) have omitted the word “Godhead”. The word describes Gods overall being as God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The word trinity isn’t in the bible but the trinity doctrine is defiantly preached in the bible and the word Godhead makes up those 3. Read more about the Godhead at-’s%20Corner/Doctrines/godhead.htm

Some religions and cults believe the Godhead is 3 different Gods. This is not true at all. God the father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit all are 1 God. 1 Timothy 3:16 says “God was manifest in the flesh” we know this is Jesus Christ. “I and my Father are one“-John 10:30

1 John 5:7 says and these three are one

1 John 5:7

“For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.”

Matthew 28:19

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:”

Luke 3:22-Holy Ghost, voice (of the Father), Son

“And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.”

1 Peter 1:1-2

“Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,

2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.”

Ephesians 2:18-through Jesus Christ we have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

“For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.”

Galatians 4:6

“And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.”

1 Timothy 3:16

“And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.”

Acts 17:29 gives us 3 things we shouldn’t think the Godhead to be like…

  1. gold
  2. silver
  3. stone graven by art and man’s device

Acts 17:29

“Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device.”

Colossians 2:9 is speaking of Jesus and says he has the fulness of the Godhead.

Colossians 2:9

“For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.”

Patterns of 3 in Revelation 4:8

Revelation 4:8 has 3 “holies” talking to the Godhead.

“Lord God Almighty” 3 words all capitalized again talking to the Godhead/trinity.

“which was, and is, and is to come.”-Time comes in 3 forms. Past, present, future.

Revelation 4:8

“And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes        within:and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.”

God is….

  1. Omniscient
  2. Omnipresent
  3. Omnipotent

Christ is 3 shepherds…

  1. The Good Shepherd-John 10:14-15-about his death
  2. The Great Shepherd-Hebrews 13:20-about his resurrection
  3. The Chief Shepherd-1 Peter 5:4-about his glory

Since we are made after Gods image we also have the pattern of 3

Body, soul, spirit

1 Thessalonians 5:23

“And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

All bodies have 3 centers. Upper center, middle center and lower center.

  • Upper center-Brain
  • Middle center-Heart
  • Lower center- Generative system

The occult and middle eastern religions like Hinduism focus heavily on these 3 “energy centers” for what they think is reaching”higher consciousness”. These teachings and practices are counterfeits from Satan.

Believing must come from the heart and the only true higher consciousness is through Jesus.

Romans 10:9

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”

Ephesians 3:17

“That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,

Romans 10:17

“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

Proverbs 21:2

“Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the Lord pondereth the hearts.”

In the wilderness tabernacle you have a representation of the Godhead.

  1. God symbolizing the Ark. Gods mercy seat and throne.
  2. Jesus symbolizing the table of bread: “And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.“-John 6:35
  3. The Spirit symbolizes the candlesticks. 7 candles, 7-number of the spirit. 7 spirits of God-“And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.”- Revelation 5:6

There are 3 heavens. 1 heaven where God dwells

2 Corinthians 12:2

“I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven.

  1. The heavens of the earths atmosphere
  2. The stars and universe
  3. The heaven where God the father, Son, and Holy Spirit exist. This doesn’t mean God is bound to heaven. We know that God is omnipresent.

Going back to Romans 1:20 it says the Godhead is seen through his creation.

Romans 1:20

“For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:”

Genesis 1:26 says “us” because the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Notice “Us, our, our”-3

Genesis 1:26

“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.”

Those who create whether it be through writing, music, or painting usually express themselves through their creation. This is exactly what God did by putting the pattern of 3 into his creation.

Space has 3 parts: length, depth and width.-3D

Matter shows up in 3 forms: solid, liquid and gas

Genesis 1:1 deals with time, space and matter

“In the beginning”-the start of time

“God created the heaven”-relating to space

“and the earth”-matter

7- spirit number, perfection, holiness and number of completion. We are to be in unity with the spirit which is why there are 7 ones in Ephesians 4:3-6.

Ephesians 4:3-6

3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.-3rd verse has the word “unity”.

4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

  1. one body
  2. one spirit
  3. one Lord
  4. one faith
  5. one baptism
  6. one God
  7. one Father

Notice how verse 6 (6/2=3) is written in patterns of 3 when defining himself.

“All” has 3 letters

  1. who is above all
  2. through all
  3. in you all

 Deuteronomy 16:16

Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the Lord thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the Lord empty:

3 times in a year

  1. feast of unleavened bread-Passover:lamb/ Jesus Christ
  2. feast of weeks-Pentacost:outpour of the Holy Spirit
  3. feast of tabernacles-God himself dwelling with us on the new heaven and earth

 Born again & Resurrection

“Born again” mentioned 3 times in the bible

“Living God” occurs 30 times

John 3:3-notice the threes

“Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Acts 4:2 (4+2=6) (6/2=3)

“Being grieved that they taught the people, and preached through Jesus the resurrection from the dead.”

John 3:7-(3)

“Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

 1 Peter 1:23-(3)

“Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.”

“The resurrection from the dead” appears 3 times in the bible.

Luke 20:35- (3)

“But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:”

Romans 1:4 (4-1=3)

“And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:”

On the 3rd day Jesus rose from the dead
When Jesus rose Lazarus from the dead he said 3 words”Lazarus, come forth.”

John 11:43 (1+1+4+3=9) (3*3=9)

“And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.”

Hosea 6:2 (6/2=3)

“After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.”-“third” is the 3rd word after the colon

John 2:19 (2+1+9=12) (3*4=12)… (2+19=21) (21/3=7) 21 the reflection of 12.

“Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.” -“three” is the 3rd word after the comma

Exodus 19:11 -(3 ones) (3*3=9)

“And be ready against the third day: for the third day the Lord will come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai. “third is the 6th word-3*2=6…”third” shows up again the 3rd word after the colon.

John 2:1 (2+1=3)

“And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there:”-“third” is the 3rd word

John 2:21

“But he spake of the temple of his body.”

“His mighty power” occurs 3 times in KJV

Ephesians 1:19-20

“And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,

20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,”

Abraham had faith that if he killed his son, God would raise him from the dead (Read Hebrews 11:17). The bible says on the 3rd day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar off. This place was Mount Moriah and you can see what looks like a skull in the mountain. Keep in mind “afar off”.

1000 years is as 1 day with the Lord. -“But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.-2Peter 3:8

Jesus shows up 2000 years after Abraham. Jesus rose from the dead after the 2nd day.

Abraham on the 3rd day seen “afar off” the place where he would offer up his begotten son.

“The term “afar off” is used in the Holy Bible in both a literal, physical sense, and/or a prophetic sense, in that the “seeing” is through time (see also Parabolic Prophecies), as made possible by the “eyes” of knowledge and understanding of what is written in the Scriptures. The actual Hebrew word that is usually translated as “afar” is pronounced raw-khoke; it means remote, in space (i.e. from one place to another) or time (whether “looking” forward, as made possible by Prophecy, or back, as made possible by Bible History).-

I hope you see how awesome the KJV bible is! Abraham probably wasn’t physically seeing in the future but God was and the bible is his inspired prophetic word! Prophecy has to do with wisdom and wisdom also has its meaning with 3 as we will see.

Just to recap…Abraham on the 3rd day seen afar off the place he would offer up his begotten son as a sacrifice. Jesus rose on the 3rd day, was the sacrifice for all sins and was Gods only begotten son. Jesus shows up 2000 years after Abraham, 1000 years is 1 day with the Lord.

Genesis 22:4

“Then on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar off.”

 Hebrews 11:17

“By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called: Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure.”

“Living God” occurs 30 times

2 Corinthians 3:3

“Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.”

3rd day of Creation God creates seeds.

“Seeds” show up 3 times in Genesis 1:11-13

The seed coat-symbolic for our bodies that will eventually die off.

The embryo-symbolic for our spirits that God gives life to

Stored food-symbolic for our soul. You feed your soul by reading Gods word

Genesis 1:11-13

11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

13 And the evening and the morning were the third day.

In 1 Corinthians 15:36-38 the bible says God gave every seed his own body.

1 Corinthians 15:36-38

36 Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:

37 And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:

38 But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.

Think about how when people die our body is put in the ground (like a seed). Jesus gifts eternal life to those that believe in him. Our dead bodies is just like the seed coat that we all must shed and when you accept Jesus Christ as your savior he gifts life to your spirit.

*Notice all have 3s in the chapter numbers and verses

Job 33:33

“If not, hearken unto me: hold thy peace, and I shall teach thee wisdom.”

Jeremiah 33:3-the showing of things not known before

“Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.”

Ezekiel 33:33-prophets relate to wisdom

“And when this cometh to pass, (lo, it will come,) then shall they know that a prophet hath been among them.”

Job 33:3-knowledge

“My words shall be of the uprightness of my heart: and my lips shall utter knowledge clearly.”

Proverbs 3:13

“Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.”

Exodus 31:3

“And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship,”

2 Chronicles 9:3

“And when the queen of Sheba had seen the wisdom of Solomon, and the house that he had built,”

Job 26:3

“How hast thou counselled him that hath no wisdom? and how hast thou plentifully declared the thing as it is?”

“Sight” is used exactly 333 times in KJV. Sight is related to wisdom because you are able to see things more clear when you have wisdom and understanding.

Numbers 33:3

“And they departed from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the morrow after the passover the children of Israel went out with an high hand in the sight of all the Egyptians.”

The 333rd chapter of the bible is Isaiah 38:3 and also talks about “sight”

Isaiah 38:3-In reference to Hezekiah who is mentioned 33 times.

3 And said, Remember now, O Lord, I beseech thee, how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.

Genesis 13:14 is the 333rd verse of the bible and talks about eyes which is related to sight.

Genesis 13:14

“And the Lord said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward:”

The book of Proverbs focuses a lot on wisdom

“Wise” is mentioned 66 times in proverbs. 33*2=66

All forms of the word “know” is mentioned 66 times. 33*2=66

All forms of the word “understand” is mentioned 66 times. 33*2=66

Proverbs 2:6-(3+3=6) (2*6=12) (3*4=12)

“For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.”

A prophecy is given in Genesis 49:10 and prophecy relates to wisdom and Shiloh…..

Genesis 49:10

“The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.”

Jeremiah 7:12

“But go ye now unto my place which was in Shiloh, where I set my name at the first, and see what I did to it for the wickedness of my people Israel.”

Shiloh-1st tabernacle. Jerusalem-2nd tabernacle. Jesus came once, he’s coming again and will reign in Jerusalem. Jesus died at the age of 33.

Shiloh mentioned 33 times. Jerusalem mentioned 667 times. 33+667=700-7 the number for the spirit, Gods perfect number, and completion.

2 Samuel 5:5

“In Hebron he reigned over Judah seven years and six months: and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty and three years over all Israel and Judah.”

The wise men were seeking where Jesus was in Matthew 2:1-2

Matthew 2:1-2

2 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,

2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.

In Micah 5:2 the 33rd book, we are told Bethleham is where Jesus the King was.

Micah 5:2

“But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.”

Sin comes in 3 forms. Lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, and the pride of life. Compare Genesis 3:6 where the first sin is to 1 John 2:26….

1 John 2:16

“For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.”

Genesis 3:6-fruit was created on the 3rd day

“And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.”

Sin has 3 stages. Lust, sin, death

James 1:15

“Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.”

Romans 6:23

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Adam was the first man to sin. Adam is mentioned exactly 30 times. Jesus started his ministry at 30 years old and died for our sins 3 years later. He rose from the dead 3 days later. Seth is Adams 3rd son and related to Noah who all of mankind today is linked to. Cain’s lineage didn’t survive the flood and Abel was killed by Cain.

Genesis 4:25

“And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew.”

Noah had 3 sons who were sinners just like us. The bible says when we are born again we are born to an incorruptible seed because we are all from a corrupt seed of sin.

Genesis 6:10

“And Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.”

Ham and his seed was cursed for sinning against his father

Genesis 9:22

“And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren without.”

There are 3 major races of men Caucasoids, Negroids, and Mongoloids. These 3 races came from Shem, Ham, and Japheth after the great flood. There is a pattern of 3s followed from the linage of Adam to Noah.

Lets think about the seeds again. When the seed is put in the ground the seed coat has no more use. It dies in the ground and the life of the seed comes forth from the the embryo and the stored food working together. One goes down 2 go up. We see this happening with when Jesus died on the cross. There was 3 crosses when Jesus died. 2 thief’s one each side of Jesus and 1 of them cursed Jesus. The other one said “Lord remember me when you go into your kingdom.” So 2 went up and 1 went down.

1/3rd of man is cursed. Mans number is 6 for many reasons but one reason is because 2/3=.666666666666667. God said in Genesis 2:17 that the day they eat of the tree they should surely die. They didn’t die physically the day they ate the apple but they died spiritually. 3 parts make up a human (body, soul, spirit) so with 1 part dead you have 2/3.

Genesis 2:17

“But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.”

Genesis 3:4-Lie from satan in the 3rd chapter

“And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:”

In Revelation 8:7-9 we see that 1/3 is cursed and 2/3rd saved

Revelation 8:7-9

7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.

8 And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood;

9 And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.

And again in Revelation 8:10……

Revelation 8:10-12

10 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;

11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.

12 And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.

3rd part of men killed in Revelation 9:18

Revelation 9:18

“By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.”

1/3rd of the angles were cast down to the earth with Satan. Again to 2 up 1 down. In Revelation 12:3, 1/3 of the stars are cast down to earth.

Revelation 12:3-4

3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.

4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.

Jacob had 3 sons

Genesis 29:34

“And she conceived again, and bare a son; and said, Now this time will my husband be joined unto me, because I have born him three sons: therefore was his name called Levi.”

Leviticus is the 3rd book of the bible and is named after the tribe of Levi.

Leviticus focuses on the price of sin and the law concerning the sacrifice for sin.

Jesus took on the sins of the world

  • He was tempted 3 times in the wilderness
  • appears after 39 books of the bible. 13*3=39
  • sold for 30 pieces of silver
  • Crucified at the 3rd hour
  • Endured 3 hours of darkness
  • Hung between 2 thief’s (3 crosses)
  • He wore a crown of thorns and it says in the bible God cursed the ground back when Adam sinned and thats why there are thorns. Jesus literally wore the curse on the cross.“And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;”-Genesis 3:17-18

Jesus 3 final words on the cross “It is finished”

“It is finished” is only found 2 times in the KJV and goes back to the 3 stages of sin.

James 1:15

“Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.”

There are 27 books in the New Testament (3x3x3=27)

“Enemy” is found 270 times (30x3x3=270) in the KJV. -Sin is the enemy

“Enemy” or “Enemies” found 30 times in New Testament.

27 bones in the human hand (3x3x3=27)

Exodus 15:6

“Thy right hand, O Lord, is become glorious in power: thy right hand, O Lord, hath dashed in pieces the enemy.”

“The beast” is mentioned 33 times in Revelation

2 Thessalonians 2:3

“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;”

1 Corinthians 15:1-4

15 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

1 John 5:13

“These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.”
