Two (Bible Numerics)

Two is the first even natural number. Two is also the first prime number and the only even prime number. The second prime number is 3 and it’s only here that two prime numbers show up consecutively. Any number divisible by two is considered an even number.

The square root of a number is the sum of that number multiplied by itself.

Read Between the lines and see how two is interTwined in our language. The Twilight has duality between night and day. Twine is formed by the twisting of two strands.  A duet is played by a pair or a couple of people and both these people are engaging in one song together. Day and night make one day. Man and woman make one marriage. Old and New Testament makes one Bible. One chromosome has 2 strands of DNA in a double helix. DNA has 4 base pairs … 2 x 2

Equilibrium: a state in which different forces or influences are balanced.

If you’ve been paying attention to what you’ve read thus far, then you ought to be asking yourself by now; “Is “two” symbolic for union or division”? The answer is both. “Two” is symbolic for the union of two opposites. For example; a magnet has a north and south side. Two opposite sides attract and pull together. Magnetism to some extent is present in all of matter. All materials can be classified as either diamagnetic, paramagnetic or ferromagnetic. Metallic elements such as iron, nickel, and steel are highly magnetic and  classify as ferromagnetic. Magnetism is also very essential to electricity. Many people believe magnetism depends on electric current because the movement of electric current creates a magnetic field around the current. The larger the current the stronger the magnetic field is. Two charges…Protons are said to have a positive charge and electrons have a negative charge.

Light and darkness are opposites and together they make up one day. The action of a force depends on the mass of the object on which it is exerted. Mass of objects are the same around the world but it’s weight depends on the gravitational field acting on it.

Straight lines and circles are opposites yet they work together to create all the shapes (in our dimension). Both are essentially the fabric of an entire field of mathematics called ‘geometry’.

Male and female have unity in one marriage however there’s still division between men and women. Men and women not 100 % the same; they’re genetically different and they have different roles in life. Wives are commanded by God to submit to the authority of their own husbands, which creates a division between the authority structure. Men are commanded by God to love their wives as Christ loved the church. Men are commanded to sacrifice their bodies at work every day to provide and take care of their wives till death.

The first mention of “two” in the Bible is when God created two great lights on the 4th (2x2) day of creation. One light is to rule the day and one light is to rule the night. The moon puts off a cool light whereas the sun puts off hot light. The Bible says the sun a greater light than the moon. ‘Greater’ is referring to the size of the sun compared to the moon.

** Notice the first mention of two is Genesis 1:16….(2 x 2 x 2 x 2) = 16

In Genesis 1:14 the Bible says what the purpose of the lights are (the sun and moon) and they’re purpose is to divide the day from the night, for signs, seasons, for days and for years and to give light upon the earth. All physical life on this earth depends on light for survival just as everlasting life of the soul and spirit hinges upon Jesus. Jesus divides the darkness ( lies & evil ) from the light ( truth & holiness ). Light and darkness in it’s spiritual sense is an example of 2s that are to be kept separate and should have no union or fellowship. If the 2 are not compatible with what Gods ordered then they’re to be kept separate. Homosexuality is an abomination because it’s the complete opposite of Gods design on what 2 are to be in agreement of.

Genesis 1:14-19

14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.

16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,

18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.

19 And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

Genesis 1:16

16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.”

God divided the light(1) from darkness(2) that makes up 1 day.

Genesis 1:4 — (2 x 2)

4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.”

Ephesians 2:11-19

11 Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;

Romans 9:8

8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh THESE ARE NOT THE CHILDREN OF GOD: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

The physical unbelieving jews of today are not Gods people by the way! —

12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;

15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;

16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:

17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.

18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;

Galatians 6:15-16

15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.

16 And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.

One of the many Old Testament foreshadowing of the 2 people….

Read about these two people at —

2 manner of people coming out of 1 woman…

Genesis 25:23

23 And the LORD said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.

God divided our body in two. The human body has 206 bones which are divided in 2 systems.

  1. Axial Skeletal system:skull(cranium), vertebral column, rib cage, (bone thorax)
  2. Appendicular Skeletal system: rest of the bones in the body

Two hands, Two arms

Two feet, Two legs

Two lungs

Two essential brain cavities. The “Cranial Cavity” contains the brain. The “Spinal Cavity” contains spinal cord and these two work together for the function of the body.

Two nostrils

Out of two comes three

Can two walk together, except they be agreed?-Amos 3:3

The Old Testament of the Bible AGREES with the New Testament. Many people have this misconception that the Old Testament is completely irrelevant to us as New Testament Christians. Christ didn’t come to destroy the law, he came to fulfill it. The Bible says to him gave all the prophets witness that whosoever believes in Christ Jesus shall be saved. All you heretical ruckmanites and Calvinists of the world can stick that in your pipe and smoke it.

Romans 3:31

31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

Acts 10:43

43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.

Testament is one of a range of english words that go back to Latin, ‘testis‘ — witness. This was derived from a prehistoric Indo-European base *tris – ‘three’, and so denoted etymologically a ‘third person,’ who was not party to an agreement and thus could be a disinterested witness to it. Other english members of the ‘testis‘ family include ‘testicles‘ which etymologically ‘bears witness‘ to a mans virility), testify, testimony, and the prefix forms ‘attest‘, contest, detest, intestate, and protest.” — Dictionary of Word Origins by: John Ayto

Deuteronomy 17:6
6 At the mouth of two witnesses, or three witnesses, shall he that is worthy of death be put to death; but at the mouth of one witness he shall not be put to death.

Matthew 26:28

28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

Hebrews 7:22

22 By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament.

Hebrews 9:13-22

13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:

14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

16 For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.

17 For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.

18 Whereupon neither the first testament was dedicated without blood.

19 For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people,

20 Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you.

21 Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry.

22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

In Genesis 2 God creates the first couple. The first man (Adam) and the first woman (Eve) and it’s here that the only two genders were created. In Genesis 2:18 God says it’s not good for man to be alone so he made him a helper.

18 And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

The theme of Genesis 2 is the creation of man and woman and them coming together and being one. We find this theme in verse 24 and it just so happens that God took one of Adams 24 ribs to create woman. 2 x 12 = 24

21 And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;

22 And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

2 x 11 = 22

Notice the 2 pattern in the wording of these verses…

** bone of my bones….1, 2

** flesh of my flesh….1, 2

— Called “woman” because she was taken out of man.

24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.

— “his father and mother” ….1, 2

— “the man and his wife” ….1, 2

*Notice verse 22

Ephesians 5:22-33

22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.

23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.

25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.

29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:

30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.

32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

33 Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.

Psalm 117 is the smallest chapter (2 verses) in the Bible and it’s also the middle chapter of the Bible.

Psalm 117 (3 x 3 x 13)

1 O praise the Lord, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people.

2 For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the Lord endureth for ever. Praise ye the Lord.

God speaks in Patterns of Two

Isaiah 28:9-11

9 Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.

10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:

11 For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.

Job 33:14

14 For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not.

Psalm 62:11

11 God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.

Genesis 41:32

32 And for that the dream was doubled unto Pharaoh twice; it is because the thing is established by God, and God will shortly bring it to pass.
